What Level of Autonomy Should Marketing AI Agents Have?

The right autonomy level is not “as much as possible”—it is the amount of decision-making power that matches your risk tolerance, data quality, and operational maturity. Most teams win by starting with assistive and supervised agents, then carefully expanding autonomy with clear guardrails.
